Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Financial Management

  • Maintain and oversee

    day-to-day accounting operations

    , including bookkeeping, ledger entries, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure

    accurate recording of project-related expenses

    and proper allocation of costs.
  • Prepare and finalize

    monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

    .
  • Manage

    Accounts Payable and Receivable

    , ensuring timely vendor payments and client collections.
  • Monitor and control

    cash flow, fund flow

    , and project-wise budgets.
  • Prepare and submit

    Management Information System (MIS)

    reports for senior management.

2. Taxation & Compliance

  • Handle

    GST, TDS, and Income Tax

    returns, challans, and filings within deadlines.
  • Ensure

    statutory compliance

    under all relevant laws and coordinate with auditors during audits.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for

    RERA compliance

    and other statutory requirements.

3. Project & Real Estate Accounting

  • Maintain

    project-wise accounts

    and monitor expenses against approved budgets.
  • Coordinate with

    Project, Purchase, and Sales Teams

    for billing, material costing, and revenue recognition.
  • Verify and process

    contractor and vendor bills

    as per work progress and agreements.
  • Track

    advances to vendors, suppliers, and landowners

    , ensuring proper adjustments and records.

4. Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Assist in

    budget preparation

    ,

    cost estimation

    , and

    profitability analysis

    of ongoing projects.
  • Provide insights and reports for

    management decision-making

    .
  • Identify areas for

    cost optimization and efficiency improvement

    .

5. Team & Coordination

  • Supervise the accounting team, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to timelines.
  • Liaise with

    banks, auditors, consultants, and government authorities

    as required.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between

    Head Office and Site Teams

    for billing and approvals.

6. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain proper

    financial documentation

    , vouchers, and supporting evidence for all transactions.
  • Prepare

    monthly financial summaries

    and project expenditure statements for review.
  • Support internal and external audits with required data and explanations.

Preferred candidate profile

Graduate / Post Graduate degree

Experience 10-12 years

Preferred Industry real estate

Male candidate preferred and based in kolkata
