Manager, Accounts Receivable

As an Accounts Receivable Manager at Intercontinental Exchange, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of accounts receivable transactions. Your leadership will be essential in maintaining a customer-focused approach and ensuring Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Your responsibilities will include: - Reviewing and monitoring accounts receivable transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. - Investigating and resolving escalated issues related to customer accounts. - Managing the accounts receivable team by assigning responsibilities, providing feedback, and ensuring service level agreements are met. - Collaborating with internal teams to streamline activities. - Monitoring team performance through reports and analytics to identify areas for improvement. - Assisting in implementing changes to enhance departmental policies and procedures. - Participating in project-based assignments related to acquisitions, system migrations, and process improvements. - Recruiting, hiring, training, and evaluating AR personnel to enhance their performance. To qualify for this role, you should have: - A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. - Experience with large ERP systems like Oracle, SAP, or PeopleSoft. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. - Strong analytical, organizational, and management skills. - Ability to assess, analyze, and solve problems in a dynamic environment. - Capability to handle confidential information professionally. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with colleagues, clients, and senior management. - Experience in fast-paced work environments and managing teams of 10+ individuals is preferred.
