Manager Accounts Receivable & Credit Control

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist at our company, your role will involve maintaining accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, applying credits and collections, accounting for uncollectible amounts, and clearing miscellaneous differences. You will be responsible for performing daily cash collection records, updating and distributing cash receipt logs, and posting cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger. Monitoring and collecting accounts receivable by contacting clients via telephone, email, and personal visits will also be part of your daily tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain accounts receivable records - Perform daily cash collection records - Monitor and collect accounts receivable - Prepare analytical and ratio analyses relevant to A/R - Support other accounting and finance team members - Coordinate with Warehouse for inventory management and cost accounting - Conduct regular meetings and follow-ups with the sales team for uncollectible amounts overdue Qualifications Required: - Strong follow-up, communication, and negotiation skills - Ability to deal with multiple stakeholders - Good presentation skills and attention to detail - Team player - Commerce Graduate with Accounts Receivable & Credit Control experience - FMCG sector experience is an added advantage In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, our company values individuals who have at least 5 years of experience in accounts receivable and credit control.
