Manager - Accounts

Role Overview: As a Corporate Finance professional at our Dahej location, you will play a crucial role in implementing and driving cost management initiatives, defining controls to mitigate financial risk, and executing procedures effectively. You will also act as the key interface between the plant and various corporate functions such as taxation, accounts, legal, and audit, while actively participating in negotiation and commercial activities for major procurements. Key Responsibilities: - Manage day-to-day accounting operations for the plant including cost accounting, inventory valuation, and fixed asset management. - Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, etc.) and internal controls. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the plant, analyzing variances and providing actionable insights to management. - Develop and monitor plant budgets, track actuals vs. budget, implement cost-saving initiatives, and provide support to operational teams with cost analysis and efficiency improvement. - Collaborate with project teams during greenfield plant setup, engage in commercial negotiation with vendors, and establish accounting systems and processes for new plant operations. - Coordinate internal and external audits for the plant.
