Manager Accounting

Position Overview:

This is an individual contributor role for finance & accounting professionals. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, has strong analytical skills, strong accounting, MIS, State Taxes knowledge including that of NGO s, trust.

• Ensuring proper accounting of the books, all credit card transactions are recorded, cash reconciliation.


• Controlling daily receivables and ensuring that all funds are received based on the payments due date.


• Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements


• Responsible for finalizing financial statements by coordinating with the external auditors,


• Responsible for preparing monthly MIS reports.


• Complying with all companies, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations.


• Preparing a monthly budget vs Forecast analysis.


• Responsible for preparing policies and procedures for the finance department.


• Handle correspondence with the bank in terms of time deposit, withdrawal of cheques and other operational related matters.


• Maintain control measures to ensure that all expenses are in accordance with the policy and within the approved budget.


• Ensure that monthly/quarterly and annual closing entries are analyzed and have proper supporting documents and management approval.

Qualifications:

• CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent qualification preferred.


• Minimum of 5 years of experience.


• Strong accounting knowledge including Trust/ NGO, financial reporting and analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
