Management Accountant

Role Overview: You will be part of the IMS Decimal division and responsible for preparing and analyzing monthly management reports, VAT returns, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial analysis, compliance, and collaborating with clients and stakeholders to support strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and analyze monthly management reports for clients, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting. - Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with HMRC regulations, ensuring timely filing and adherence to VAT laws. - Support the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts, collaborating with client teams to align financial targets with business strategy. - Monitor cash flow, forecast liquidity requirements, and support working capital management for Australian entities. - Conduct variance analysis, identify financial trends and risks, and provide actionable insights for improved financial performance. - Ensure adherence to Accounting Standards, taxation laws, and regulatory reporting obligations. - Liaise with Australian clients, finance teams, and external stakeholders to support strategic decision-making and deliver financial clarity. Qualifications Required: - 35 years of relevant experience in management accounting. - Sound understanding of GAAP, GST/BAS requirements, and ATO compliance. - Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks, with strong Excel skills. - Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams. - Prior experience working with Australian/USA/UK clients or in a global service delivery environment is advantageous.
