Job Title: Makeup Trainer
Job Purpose:
The Makeup Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality training in makeup artistry to students, ensuring they acquire both theoretical knowledge and practical expertise. . The ideal candidate is a seasoned makeup artist with a passion for teaching and a deep understanding of the beauty industry. The trainer plays a key role in shaping students’ professional skills, preparing them for successful careers in the beauty and wellness industry
Key Responsibilities:
1. Training & Curriculum Delivery
• Deliver Lakmé Lever Private Limited (LLPL) course content as per the prescribed curriculum.
• Conduct engaging classroom sessions, live demonstrations, and hands-on workshops.
• Ensure students gain a thorough understanding of makeup techniques, tools, and products.
• Adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles and skill levels.
2. Student Development
• Provide personalized guidance, mentorship, and constructive feedback to students.
• Monitor student progress through assessments, assignments, and practical evaluations.
• Encourage creativity and innovation while maintaining professional standards.
• Prepare students for exams, competitions, and industry exposure opportunities.
3. Product & Stock Management
• Ensure the proper use and maintenance of training products and tools.
• Review product details (expiry dates, quantities, and condition) upon receipt.
• Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) method to prevent product expiry.
• Ensure no stock expires while under supervision.
4. Professionalism & Compliance
• Stay updated with the latest makeup trends, techniques, and product innovations.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe training environment.
• Adhere to company standards, policies, and operational guidelines.
• Represent the academy/brand professionally in internal and external forums.
5. Administrative Support
• Maintain training records, attendance, and student performance reports.
• Support in organizing workshops, seminars, and promotional events.
• Coordinate with the center head and other trainers for smooth operations.
Key Skills & Competencies:
• Strong expertise in makeup artistry (bridal, fashion, editorial, creative, etc.).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor students.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Up-to-date knowledge of makeup products, techniques, and trends.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Certification in Makeup Artistry from a reputed institute.
• Prior experience as a professional makeup trainer (2–5 years preferred).
• Knowledge of skin care, hairstyling, and nails (preferred but not mandatory).
