Job Description

As a Facility Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing the upkeep and functionality of our three dealership locations. Your primary objective will be to ensure that each facility is clean, safe, and fully operational to support our team and provide an exceptional customer experience. To excel in this role, you should be hands-on, organized, and capable of performing a wide range of tasks with minimal supervision. Your key responsibilities will include conducting routine inspections and maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment across all three dealerships. You will be expected to troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical issues. Additionally, you will need to coordinate with third-party vendors for larger repairs or inspections, such as HVAC, pest control, landscaping, and fire systems. Maintaining parking lots, lighting, signage, service bays, car wash areas, and customer waiting areas will also be essential aspects of your role. In the event of facility-related service calls and emergencies, you must respond promptly. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies will be crucial. You will also be responsible for performing seasonal maintenance tasks like snow removal, HVAC filter changes, and supporting landscaping activities. Tracking and managing maintenance supplies and tools, as well as documenting all repairs and work performed, will form part of your daily responsibilities. To qualify for this position, you should have proven experience in facility maintenance, building operations, or a related trade. A working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems is essential. Being able to read technical manuals, blueprints, and building plans is also required. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, self-motivation, and the ability to prioritize tasks across multiple locations are valuable attributes for this role. Possessing a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform labor in various weather conditions are also necessary. This is a full-time position that will require flexibility to rotate between the three dealership locations. Occasional after-hours or weekend work may be needed in case of emergencies.
