Maintenance Manager

A Laundry Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of all laundry equipment and machinery within the laundry facility. Your duties will include performing routine inspections, servicing, and maintenance on laundry equipment according to schedules and manufacturer guidelines. Additionally, you will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, assist with the installation of new equipment, and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs. Ensuring safety compliance, inventory management, training staff, responding to emergency situations, and coordinating with vendors for parts and repairs are also part of your responsibilities. Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in equipment performance and efficiency is key. To excel in this role, you must possess strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills, along with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions effectively. Familiarity with various types of laundry equipment, a deep understanding of safety regulations, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential. Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks and previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a laundry or hospitality setting, are also required.
