Maintenance Manager

Role & responsibilities

Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all equipment and machinery to avoid breakdowns and increase lifespan

Identify the root cause of mechanical, electrical, or other technical problems with machinery and equipment

Perform repairs on faulty equipment, machinery, or systems and replace damaged or worn-out components

Respond to emergency maintenance requests or breakdowns, providing timely solutions to minimize production downtime

Modify or adjust machines and systems to improve performance, efficiency, or safety based on operational requirements

Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with safety regulations and company safety standards

Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and replacements

Keep a detailed log of equipment maintenance history, including issues, repairs, and the performance of parts

Manage and maintain inventory levels of critical spare parts and materials required for maintenance activities

Order and procure spare parts, tools, and equipment as needed to ensure continuous operation Ensure that the maintenance department has an adequate stock of essential components to minimize downtime

Monitor energy usage and identify opportunities to reduce energy consumption and costs through efficient maintenance practices

Train and develop the maintenance team on new technologies, systems, and maintenance best practices

Ensure that maintenance activities comply with industry standards, safety regulations, environmental laws, and other relevant regulations

Required candidate profile

Qualification - B.Tech Mechanical / Electrical

Experience - Min 8 Years in Manufacturing industry

Must have hands on experience in -

1. Material Handling Devices ( Forklift / Hydra )

2. Utilities ( DG / Compressor / Transformer )

3. Powder Coating Plant/ Welding machine / CNC Bending / Laser Machine

4. Team Handling
