The Maintenance Manager – Towing Fleet will be responsible for ensuring the efficient upkeep, servicing, and repair of the company’s owned fleet of towing trucks. The role requires expertise in commercial vehicle maintenance, fleet optimization, cost control, and compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will develop preventive maintenance plans, manage vendor relationships, and lead a team to ensure high fleet uptime and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Oversee fleet maintenance & repair management to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety. Develop and execute preventive & predictive maintenance schedules to reduce unplanned downtime. Manage breakdown repairs and implement an efficient emergency response system. Track and optimize fleet uptime %, minimizing vehicle downtime. Ensure compliance with RTO norms, emission regulations, and safety standards. Identify and manage vendors, service centers, and spare parts suppliers to optimize maintenance costs. Monitor and control cost per kilometer and annual maintenance costs per truck. Maintain accurate fleet records, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation. Utilize fleet management software & telematics for real-time tracking and maintenance planning. Lead and train technicians, mechanics, and maintenance staff to ensure high productivity and skill enhancement. Coordinate with the operations team to ensure seamless fleet availability.
