Job Summary:

The Maintenance Incharge is responsible for ensuring that all restaurant equipment, utilities, and facilities are properly maintained and functioning efficiently. The role involves planning and executing preventive maintenance, coordinating repairs, ensuring safety standards, and minimizing downtime to support smooth restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily maintenance operations of the restaurant, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment, fixtures, and facilities to identify potential issues.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce breakdowns and prolong equipment life.
  • Coordinate and supervise external vendors/technicians for specialized repair and servicing.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and environmental standards in maintenance activities.
  • Maintain records of maintenance work, equipment service history, and spare parts inventory.
  • Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns to minimize disruption in restaurant operations.
  • Monitor utility usage (water, electricity, gas) and suggest measures for cost control and efficiency.
  • Train and guide junior staff in basic maintenance and safety procedures.
  • Liaise with restaurant management to plan maintenance budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma/ITI/Graduate in Electrical/Mechanical/Facilities Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in hospitality/restaurant industry.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage vendors and negotiate service contracts.
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to work under pressure.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
