Role & responsibilities Perform routine maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment and systems. Diagnose and repair electrical issues such as motor controls, wiring, lighting, and switchgear. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, HVAC, and other plant equipment. Should have knowledge on Utilities like, DG, Compressors, Chilling Plant, Industrial RO & DM plant, fire alarm system etc Install, test, and commission new machinery and electrical components. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and implement solutions Proactively. Performing routine tasks to preventive maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure the long-term reliability of equipment and systems. Reviewing blueprints to understand wiring placement. Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and parts usage. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, standard operating procedures, Quality assurance and Health and Safety to ensure that all work is undertaken in accordance with the Industry's best practices Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner. Collaborate with production and other departments to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations. Participate in continuous improvement and preventive maintenance programs. Maintain stocks of critical spares and other stock pertaining to responsibilities. To liaise and co-operate with the visits of auditors, and other visiting disciplines to ensure the continuing efficient operation of the plant without disruption to the occupants and providing them the complete technical assistance with their queries. Preferred candidate profile Diploma or ITI in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related technical field. • Proven experience (7+ years) as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing unit. • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, motors, control panels, and mechanical equipments. • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and machinery. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and in a team. • Flexibility to work shifts • • Location: Panipat (Haryana)
