Maintenance Engineer/ Instrument Engineer (Japanese MNC) Dahej

Role & responsibilities

• Support the team for maintaining healthy condition of instrumentation, automation & control system of Utility & Manufacturing plants.
• Attending priority work as per order.
• Maintaining and managing stocks of supplies, parts and instruments.
• Diagnosing problems when instrument breaks down and deciding the best way to repair them.
• Obtaining any specialized components or fixtures needed to make repairs.
• Attending priority work as per order.
• responsible for maintaining and the critical instrument, plant equipment, tools and systems used in manufacturing, engineering and other industrial production processes.
• Knowledge on DCS, SCADA, PLC, OSI-PI and other relevant automation & control system including latest technology Support & involvement in project related activities.
• Hands on experience with HMI, IMCC.
• Awareness & hands on experience with all type of communication protocol.
• Hands on experience with discrete / standalone automation systems.
• Hands on experience with all types of instruments related to weight, level, temperature, pressure, flow etc.
• Experience in Control System Engineering - IO List, Logic diagram, Control Narrative, System Architecture, Review of system vendor drawings, interface with packaged equipment.
• In depth knowledge of Hazardous Area protection types for field Instruments and bulks
• All type of services instruments PM & calibration record & tracking.
• PR, MRN, RGP tracking & maintaining for tracking
