Maintenance and Utility Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on DG sets, air compressors, chilling plants, and other utility equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  
• Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems, including transformers, switchgear, and wiring to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment or systems promptly to minimize downtime and prevent accidents.
  
• Collaborate with other teams to resolve complex technical issues related to utility operations.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations during all aspects of work.

• Should have sound Knowledge in Fanuc / Siemens PLC and CNC systems and utility equipment's like Generator, compressors, and Hoists.
• Excellent communication skills, team player, self-driven, high initiative.
• Should be Conversant in Siemens, OMRON, FANUC, HINUMERIK products of CNC, PLC , OP and all other drives etc
• Should have PLC programming knowledge in all the above products
• Should be able to take lead in medications / retrofitting etc of Electrical activities
• Should be a complete mechatronics person & should be conversant in Hydraulics & Pneumatics will be added advantage.
• Should be able to do paper works like reporting, preparation of Work instructions, scheduling and planning & also purchase work.
• Should be able to Manage Unionized employees and should be good in Man Management
• Additional knowledge DG sets, forklifts, Compressors, and any other utility maintenance activities
• Should be able to work for IATF 16949 / ISO 14000 related issues
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3-6 years of experience in utility maintenance or a related field (DG set operation & maintenance).
  
• Diploma / B.Tech/B.E. degree in Electrical or Electrical Electronics Engineering from a recognized institution.
  
• Strong knowledge of electricity principles, DG set operation, maintenance procedures for various types of machinery.
