Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Mainframe Developer with expertise in Mainframe technologies and a proven track record of managing 24x7 support operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical troubleshooting skills, and a passion for process optimization and team development. This position is based in Hyderabad.

Roles and Responsibility

Lead and mentor the Production Support team to ensure high performance and accountability.
Oversee 24x7 support operations, manage shift schedules, and allocate resources effectively.
Provide hands-on technical expertise in Mainframe COBOL JCL and DB2 environments.
Perform DueDiligence and estimation for large projects.
Monitor system health, batch jobs, and resolve production incidents promptly.
Drive root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless issue resolution.
Maintain and enhance support processes focusing on automation and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and present regular reports on incident trends, team performance, and key metrics.
Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical and operational challenges.
Guide team members in technical troubleshooting and knowledge sharing.
Coordinate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable support plans.
Foster a positive team culture focused on continuous improvement and professional growth.
Manage hiring, onboarding, and training for new team members.
Support audit and compliance activities ensuring documentation and processes are up to date.
Be ready to work in 24 X 7 shifts.

Job Requirements

Experience working in Net projects.
