Main frame RACF Developer

Roles & Responsibilities

RACF Key responsibilities:

Proficiency in RACF Operational Activities, including handling users, resource profiles, and dataset profiles. Experience with RRSF infrastructure administration and permit comparisons. Knowledge in MAAS for creation of LPARs and mainframe configuration. Familiarity with audit and compliance requirements and report management. Competence in JCL scripting for batch jobs, XPTR for job outputs, and JESSPOOL for viewing control. Ability to work effectively with RACF, IAM integration, user provisioning and deprovisioning processes. Expertise in synchronizing passwords and user attributes across multiple systems. Strong understanding of security monitoring and threat detection practices within RACF logs and IAM. Ability to design and execute REXX scripts for specific administrative tasks. Solid troubleshooting skills and capability to follow support and escalation protocols. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams for seamless integration and security management.
