SAP BW Senior Developer

Dow has an exciting opportunity for a SAP BW Developer on the Enterprise Data & Analytics Platform, Governance and Engineering team. This position is open for Navi Mumbai, India.

The SAP BW Developer is responsible for delivering large-scale, complex data warehouse (BW on HANA) and data integration processes and technologies to help Dow's businesses and functions achieve their objectives and accelerate Dow's digital transformation. Under the guidance of technical focals, other senior developers, the SAP BW Developer works hand-in-hand with a global, multi-disciplinary IT expert team to deliver innovative digital solutions. They develop, optimize, implement, and support solutions leveraging best-in-class SAP BW on HANA technologies using your SAP BW and SAP HANA conceptual and practical knowledge. You will be responsible for a small portfolio of solutions, managing the lifecycle (analysis, design, implementation/adoption, optimization, and end-of-life retirement) of digital solutions, while delivering advanced functional and business capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Take on assigned aspects of solution delivery for integrated reporting & analytics solutions.
• Work with global team that includes both partners and technical teams to deliver IT business solutions for Finance and other.
• Engage in assigned aspects of business application solution lifecycle (development /coding, testing, implementation, and support).
• Identify problem areas and implement appropriate strategic solutions in line with organizational standards.
• Collaborates with developers, DBAs, architects, and functional partners.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• A minimum of 4 years delivering solutions with SAP BW - BW 7.5 on HANA V2.0
• A minimum of 2 years delivering solutions with native HANA V2.0 (including SLT, SDA).
• A degree discipline in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or other Engineering Discipline.

Your Skills

• A minimum of 2 years functional process and data experience with SAP FI and CO is highly desired.
• Experience with SAP ECC 6.0.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in S4 /Datasphere is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile Methodology and Design thinking is a plus
• Knowledge of Azure data services, Python, BI tools i.e. Power BI, and Change Management is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, inquisitiveness, organizational, facilitative and communication skills.

Additional notes

• Relocation assistance is not available with this position. The role will require work from office location.
• The ability to accommodate a flexible schedule aligned with international time zones is essential.
