Machine Shop Manager

As the Machine Shop Manager at Rapsri Engineering Products Company (REPCO), you will lead machining operations with a team of 100 operators. You will manage CNC turning machines and VMCs to machine copper, brass, and bronze castings and forgings efficiently. Your primary objective will be to advance machining technology by introducing hydraulic fixturing, auto gauging systems, and robotic pick-and-place solutions. Productivity enhancements will be driven through bottleneck analysis, single-piece flow methodologies, and CNC program optimization. Implementing statistical quality control and operator self-inspection programs will be crucial in reducing machining defects. Advocating for flexible and lean manufacturing principles, you will facilitate layout changes and workflow optimization to drive efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness improvements.
