Oversee traditional accounting functions in line with accounting principles and standards. Prepare annual financial statements and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Manage and file income tax returns, VAT/Sales Tax returns, and other statutory obligations. Prepare management accounts and provide detailed analysis of variances. Manage provisions, deferred revenue, and accrued revenue accounting. Perform reconciliations, including revenue reconciliations with partners, payroll deductions, pensions/provident funds, and medical benefit providers. Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of accounts receivable and accounts payable. Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cashflow projections. Liaise with banks and financial institutions to manage financing, credit lines, and investments. Oversee system maintenance and support enhancements to finance systems as per business requirements. Provide financial insights to support commercial decisions. Monitor and explain business variances, providing recommendations for corrective actions. Manage accounting and compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions. Liaise with in-country service providers, tax consultants, and auditors to ensure compliance. Oversee corporate legal structures, including dividends, financing instruments, intercompany transactions and Transfer pricing. Manage foreign currency exposures, transactions, and accounting for global operations. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial efficiency and compliance. Present financial results, forecasts, and insights to leadership team and stakeholders.
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (mandatory).
