About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Logistics supervisor to oversee and streamline the logistics and supply chain operations for our furniture manufacturing business. The ideal candidate will bring 3–4 years of relevant experience, leadership skills, and strong knowledge of logistics operations, ensuring smooth and cost-effective delivery of products to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day logistics operations including transportation, dispatch, and warehousing.
• Lead and coordinate with logistics staff and ensure adherence to timelines.
• Build and maintain strong vendor and transporter relationships to secure best rates and service quality.
• Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, and optimize warehouse space utilization.
• Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of furniture products with minimal damages.
• Oversee logistics documentation such as challans, invoices, e-way bills, and compliance records.
• Develop cost-saving strategies by optimizing routes, reducing idle time, and negotiating vendor contracts.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and sales teams to ensure seamless supply chain flow.
• Analyze logistics performance, prepare MIS reports, and share insights with management.
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
• 3–4 years of proven experience in logistics management, preferably in a furniture / manufacturing sector.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to manage a small team.
• Excellent knowledge of transport, warehouse management, and vendor coordination.
• Proficiency in ERP / logistics software and MS Office.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
