Logistics Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Supervisor to oversee and manage the logistics operations, ensuring smooth and efficient movement of goods and materials. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating with vendors, managing inventory, supervising warehouse activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipments, inventory management, and warehousing.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and transporters to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels to prevent overstocking or shortages.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Track shipments and resolve any transportation issues or delays.
• Lead, train, and manage a team of warehouse staff and logistics personnel.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports related to shipments, deliveries, and inventory.
• Optimize processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with other departments such as procurement, production, and sales to align logistics activities.
• Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and inventory management systems.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software (ERP systems preferred).
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the relevant industry (manufacturing, retail, FMCG, etc.).
• Certification in logistics or supply chain management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
