Logistics Manager

As a Transport Operations Manager, your role involves implementing and monitoring the SLA/SOPs of Primary Transport at the Factory and OEM level, as well as National HUB WH operations or large WH operations. You are responsible for the periodic analysis of the performance of primary Carriers, possessing knowledge of Primary Freight, Route, and types of vehicles used as per industry standards to ensure maximum utilization of vehicle CBM. Your initiatives aim to enhance quality and delivery standards, setting transport basics of operations and defining quality norms while prioritizing material safety methods to mitigate transit risks. Your responsibilities include maintaining SLAs such as OTA, Delay, Damages, Placement, and Tracking, alongside OTD: IOD/POD Management, Load management, Detention, and Delivery Management. Vendor Management is crucial, requiring you to maximize output by creating a strong vendor base, staying informed about competition, and identifying opportunities for cost and quality benefits to the company. In addition, you will oversee Insurance Management to ensure lodging insurance for damaged and accident materials, following through until insurance claims are settled. Your strategic approach is vital in planning and managing logistics, Warehouse, transportation, and customer services effectively. Monitoring Quality, Quantity Stock, Stock Level, Delivery Times, transport costs, and efficiency at the factory & CDC level will be integral to your duties. Your role also encompasses arranging Warehouse, Catalogue Goods, planning routes, and processing shipments efficiently. You will be involved in Raw Material WH Operations Management, supporting the Factory in short-term or long-term planning related to Raw material management and developing Vendors to handle such operations effectively.,
