Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Logistics and Purchase Assistance Manager to support the procurement and logistics functions for our wind and solar energy projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain operations within the renewable energy sector, with a deep understanding of logistics coordination, vendor relations, and purchasing processes for wind turbines, solar panels, and associated infrastructure.

Experience in : Wind & Solar 5 to 10 yrs - Handling Logistic and Purchase end to end vendor management.

Key Responsibilities:Logistics Management

  • Coordinate transportation and delivery of wind turbines, solar modules, inverters, and other components to project sites.
  • Optimize logistics strategies to ensure timely, cost-effective, and safe delivery of equipment.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouse providers to ensure compliance with local/international shipping regulations.
  • Track shipments and resolve delivery delays or damages.

Purchase Assistance

  • Assist in the procurement of equipment, materials, and services as per project requirements.
  • Issue and track purchase orders; ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal procedures.
  • Conduct vendor evaluations and assist in negotiations to secure best terms.
  • Support the purchasing team in preparing RFPs, RFQs, and bid analysis.

Vendor & Supplier Coordination

  • Maintain relationships with local and international suppliers specific to wind and solar energy components.
  • Monitor supplier performance and escalate issues as needed.
  • Coordinate with engineering, construction, and project teams to align purchasing activities with project timelines.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain up-to-date procurement records, contracts, and delivery schedules.
  • Prepare logistics and purchasing status reports for management.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and renewable energy regulatory standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,546.59 - ₹52,295.51 per month
