Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Tendering Engineer / Estimation Engineer / Cost Estimator with proven experience in EPC projects to manage cost estimation , tender documentation , and project costing activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in BOQ preparation , rate analysis , and bid submission , along with proficiency in budgeting , forecasting , and CAPEX/OPEX evaluations to support strategic decision-making and successful project execution. Job Description Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate cost estimates , BOQs , and conduct quantity take-offs from engineering drawings and project scopes. Analyze rates and perform rate analysis based on market trends, historical data, and vendor quotations. Lead the preparation of technical and commercial bids for national and international EPC tenders . Develop comprehensive tender documentation , ensuring compliance with client specifications and contract requirements. Evaluate CAPEX/OPEX costs and conduct cost benchmarking to support pricing strategies. Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project planning teams for effective bid preparation and submission. Conduct budgeting and forecasting for upcoming and ongoing projects. Support pre-sales engineering by providing technical inputs and responding to RFPs/RFQs. Interface with vendors, subcontractors, and clients to clarify scope and resolve bid queries. Track industry trends and maintain a database of cost estimation norms and historical bids. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or equivalent). 3+ years in cost estimation , tendering , or proposal engineering in an EPC environment . Expertise in tools such as MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software. Strong analytical, commercial, and technical writing skills. Role Overview The EPC Wind Engineer will be responsible for providing technical expertise and engineering support throughout the lifecycle of wind power projects (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction). This role involves design review, project execution, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety, and quality requirements. Key Responsibilities Engineering & Design Support detailed engineering for wind farm projects including civil, electrical, and mechanical interfaces. Review and validate design calculations, layouts, and technical drawings for wind turbines, foundations, and electrical systems. Ensure compliance with international codes, standards, and project specifications. Project Execution & Coordination Coordinate between engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure timely project delivery. Provide technical support during procurement of turbines, substations, transmission lines, and balance of plant (BoP). Assist in planning construction methodologies, erection sequences, and commissioning strategies. Technical & Quality Assurance Conduct feasibility studies, wind resource analysis review, and site assessments. Perform technical due diligence for equipment suppliers and subcontractors. Monitor and ensure quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) compliance during project execution. Stakeholder Management Collaborate with clients, OEMs, contractors, and consultants for successful project execution. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for stakeholders. Support in resolving technical issues and providing innovative solutions during project execution.
