Job Description

Role Overview: As a Security Manager at Wipro, your main responsibility will be to identify and evaluate risks and threats to assigned sites, and implement security risk mitigation strategies in line with the Company's Security Policy and Global best practices. You will be required to plan and supervise security staff, respond to emergencies, and ensure the overall performance of the unit. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct Security Risk Assessments and Vulnerability assessments for existing & proposed Sites - Support Project Management of Security Systems ensuring delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of security equipment - Conduct security-related investigations and prepare incident reports - Ensure proper functioning of security equipment like CCTV, Access control system, alarms, etc. - Coordinate appointments of Emergency Response Team members & Fire Wardens and conduct drills - Liaise with Law enforcement Authorities, Fire services, and Local Security forums - Maintain awareness of the regional security situation and provide guidance on developing response plans - Act as a focal point for security advice to projects and crisis management - Support in sourcing cost-effective security systems and services - Carry out cost rationalization initiatives and ensure compliance with security standards Qualifications Required: - Minimum 7 years of experience in Corporate Security domain - Graduate from a recognized university - Any professional security certification (CPP, PSP etc) is desired - Experience in managing physical security of large campuses with over 10,000 personnel Company Details: Wipro is a modern end-to-end digital transformation partner with a focus on reinvention.
