Job Description

Job Title : Live Underwriters Location : Bangalore Mode of Work : Work From Office CTC Range : 10 - 15 LPA Notice Period : Immediate Shift Timing : Night Shift Mode of Interview : Face to Face Qualification: Any Graduate or above Experience: 5 to 10 years of relevant experience Must-Have Skills: Live Underwriting Experience Expertise in 4Cs (Collateral, Capacity, Credit & Income) Mortgage Loan Processing Loan Data, Reports, and Inspections Analysis Roles & Responsibilities: Review, analyze, and underwrite mortgage loans in accordance with established company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines. Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of mortgage loan applications to minimize risk factors. Examine all required loan data, reports, and inspections to determine collateral acceptability for investors and the company. Make independent decisions regarding loan acceptance and risk assessment based on HUD, company, and investor guidelines. Provide final approval for underwriting mortgage loans. Complete all required paperwork and forms accurately and within specified timelines. Sign off conditions within the timeframe set by management. Collaborate with staff and management to resolve escalated loan issues. Recommend improvements for internal audit policies and underwriting practices. Manage loans using Encompass or other mortgage processing platforms. Communicate underwriting decisions effectively with processors and advisors. Maintain a high level of customer service and coordination with other departments. Perform other related duties as assigned.
