Litigation Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Manage and regional litigation matters, including recovery, arbitration, and consumer cases across various forums and courts.
  
• Liaise with external legal counsels, ensure timely filing of replies, and monitor case progress.
  
• Draft, review, and vet legal notices, plaints, written statements, and settlement agreements.
  
• Provide legal support to business teams on recovery strategy, documentation, and compliance with NBFC regulations.
  
• Maintain litigation MIS and ensure adherence to internal legal and regulatory policies.
  

Preferred candidate profile

• LL.B. with 510 years of experience in litigation, preferably in NBFC or BFSI sector.
  
• Strong knowledge of SARFAESI, arbitration, NI Act, and recovery laws.
  
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  
• Proven ability to coordinate with law firms and manage high case volumes effectively.
