Linux System Administrator

Job Title SUSE Linux System Administrator with Pacemaker Cluster Expertise Key Responsibilities 1.⁠ ⁠Design, implement, and manage high-availability SUSE Linux clusters using Pacemaker. 2.⁠ ⁠Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability of Linux-based systems. 3.⁠ ⁠Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in SUSE Linux environments. 4.⁠ ⁠Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment of applications. 5.⁠ ⁠Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures. Required Skills 1.⁠ ⁠Strong experience with SUSE Linux (SLE) administration. 2.⁠ ⁠In-depth knowledge of Pacemaker clustering technology. 3.⁠ ⁠Experience with Corosync, DRBD, and other clustering components. 4.⁠ ⁠Familiarity with Linux storage systems (LVM, iSCSI, etc.). 5.⁠ ⁠Scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.). 6.⁠ ⁠Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Nice to Have 1.⁠ ⁠Experience with other clustering technologies (e.g., Red Hat Cluster Suite). 2.⁠ ⁠Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). 3.⁠ ⁠Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, etc.). Education and Certifications 1.⁠ ⁠Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. 2.⁠ ⁠SUSE Certified Administrator (SCA) or equivalent certification.
