Linux Server Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

• API Deployment and Hosting:
• Manage API publishing, testing, and deployment on Linux-based environments.
• Oversee API integration with databases and other applications.
• Email Server Management:
• Setup, configure, and maintain Mail Servers using protocols such as SMTP, IMAP, and POP3.
• Administer and monitor Mailboxes for various users and departments.
• Ensure secure and reliable email communication by managing email security protocols, spam filtering, and email encryption.
• Database Management:
• Administer databases related to API functions, ensuring seamless communication between APIs and database layers.
• Network Administration:
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Linux-based servers.
• Oversee the networking infrastructure, ensuring smooth data flow and server uptime.
• Implement security measures to protect the network from external threats.
• Hosting & Infrastructure:
• Oversee the hosting and maintenance of applications on Linux environments.
• Monitor server health and performance, applying necessary updates and optimizations.

Key Skills:

• Proficiency in Linux server management.
• Strong experience with C#, Python for API development.
• Expertise in email protocols (SMTP, IMAP, POP3).
• Knowledge of hosting and deploying APIs in Linux environments.
• Familiarity with databases and their integration with APIs.
• Network security and troubleshooting skills.
