Job Title: Lift Technician / Elevator Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking skilled and safety-conscious Lift Technicians to handle installation, preventive maintenance, and emergency servicing of elevators and escalators in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The ideal candidate should be technically sound, client-focused, and committed to adhering to operational and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Preventive Maintenance

* Conduct routine inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and system checks.

* Replace worn-out or faulty components (e.g., guide shoes, relays, ropes) to prevent malfunctions.

* Ensure proper functioning and operational reliability of lifts and escalators.

2. Breakdown & Emergency Repairs

* Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency fault calls.

* Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues; perform on-site repairs.

* Restore lift operations safely and efficiently with minimal downtime.

3. Safety & Compliance

* Adhere to industry safety standards and regulatory norms during all operations.

* Maintain accurate AMC logs, inspection records, and safety documentation.

* Participate in routine safety drills, audits, and equipment checks.

4. Customer Communication

* Interact professionally with clients and building occupants.

* Provide clear updates on equipment status, repair timelines, and recommendations.

* Escalate complex technical issues to senior staff or OEM representatives as necessary.

5. Documentation & Reporting

* Maintain service records, breakdown history, and maintenance checklists.

* Submit daily job reports via mobile apps or paper-based formats as directed.

Qualifications:

* SSC (10th Pass); HSC (12th Pass) preferred.

* ITI Certification in Lift Mechanic, Electrician, or Wireman (NCVT preferred).

* Additional training or certifications in elevator safety, electrical safety, or welding are advantageous.

Experience:*

* 1–3 years of hands-on experience in lift installation or maintenance.

* Freshers with relevant ITI background and apprenticeship exposure are encouraged to apply.

* On-site training experience under the Apprenticeship Act is considered a strong asset.

Key Skills:

* Troubleshooting skills across major elevator brands (e.g., Otis, Kone, Schindler).

* Knowledge of PLC systems and basic control panels (preferred but not mandatory).

* Strong commitment to safety practices and maintenance protocols.

* Ability to use mobile apps for real-time reporting and logging (preferred).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
