Job Description

Job Summary:

The Lift Service Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of elevators, escalators, and other vertical transportation systems. The role ensures that all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable standards and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform regular preventive maintenance and safety checks on lifts and escalators.

* Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in lift systems.

* Carry out necessary repairs or component replacements to ensure operational reliability.

* Attend breakdown calls promptly to minimize downtime and restore service.

* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, codes, and company standards.

* Maintain accurate service and inspection records.

* Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new lift systems.

* Communicate effectively with clients and report service findings to supervisors.

* Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, test equipment, and safety gear.

* Participate in periodic training and technical updates.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education: ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).

Experience:Minimum 2–7 years of experience in lift or elevator maintenance/service.

Technical Skills:

* Strong knowledge of lift control systems and safety mechanisms.

* Ability to read electrical diagrams and service manuals.

* Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical/mechanical systems.

* Good communication and customer service skills.

* Ability to work independently and handle emergency situations.

* Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Working Conditions:

* Field-based role; may require travel to multiple sites.

* On-call duty for emergency breakdowns.

* Work may involve heights, confined spaces, and heavy equipment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹32,000.00 per month
