About the Role

Liferay Tech Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development and delivery of enterprise-grade Liferay DXP projects
• Design and implement custom portlets, hooks, themes, and platform integrations
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and clients to define and deliver technical solutions
• Mentor and manage a team of Liferay developers to ensure high performance
• Conduct code reviews and uphold coding standards and best practices
• Work closely with DevOps teams to support CI/CD and deployment processes

Required Skills & Experience

• 8–11 years of overall IT experience, with at least 5 years in Liferay DXP (7.x)
• Strong programming background in Java, Spring, Hibernate, and REST APIs
• Solid understanding of Liferay architecture and OSGi module development
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend frameworks like React or Angular
• Experience with integration methods such as OAuth2, SSO, LDAP, and SAML
• Strong communication and client interaction skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP
• Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Liferay PaaS and cloud-based deployment models
