Librarian

Roles & Responsibilities

• Organize, catalog, and maintain the school’s collection of books, journals, digital resources, and other materials.
• Ensure efficient circulation and inventory management of library resources.
• Assist students and staff in locating and using library resources effectively.
• Coordinate with teachers to provide resources that support classroom learning and curriculum goals.
• Organize book fairs, reading challenges, and other literary events to promote literacy and learning.
• Maintain accurate records of library resources, usage statistics, and acquisitions.
• Prepare and present periodic reports to school management on library activities and needs.
• Create a welcoming, quiet, and organized space conducive to reading and learning.
• Enforce library rules and promote a culture of respect for shared resources.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Library Science or a related field.
• Certification in Library Management is a plus.
• Experience: Prior experience in library management, preferably in an educational institution.

Skills:

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with library software and digital resource management.
• Passion for books, learning, and working with children.

• Patience and a friendly demeanor in assisting young learners.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
