Librarian

Job Title: School Librarian

## Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic School Librarian to manage and maintain our school library. The successful candidate will support students' literacy and research skills, promote a love of reading, and collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into the curriculum.

## Key Responsibilities:

1. Library Management: Oversee daily library operations, including cataloging, circulation, and inventory management.

2. Collection Development: Select and acquire library materials, including books, databases, and digital resources.

3. Instruction and Support: Provide library instruction, research support, and literacy guidance to students.

4. Collaboration with Teachers: Work with teachers to develop library-based lessons and projects.

5. Reading Promotion: Promote reading and literacy through programs, events, and activities.

6. Technology Integration: Implement and maintain library technology, including online resources and digital tools.

## Requirements:

1. Education: Master's degree in Library Science or related field.

2. Certification: Library media certification or license.

3. Experience: Experience working in a school library or similar setting.

4. Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and technical skills.

## Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with Diverse Students: Experience working with students of varying abilities and backgrounds.

2. Knowledge of Emerging Trends: Familiarity with emerging trends and technologies in school librarianship.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
