Liaison Officer

Job Description

Delhi-based Freight Forwarding Company is looking to hire a Liaison Officer for our Delhi operations. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong legal and communication skills to represent our company and build relationships with Government, Public, and Private Sector organizations in Kolkata.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Liaison Management: Act as the primary contact between the company and various stakeholders, including government authorities, public organizations, and private sector partners.
• Legal Support: Assess legal risks and provide proactive legal advice to the management team.
• Documentation: Draft, review, and update legal documents, policies, and agreements as required.
• Meetings and Interventions: Attend meetings and represent the company wherever intervention or presence is needed.
• Communication: Strong command over letter drafting and formal communication with different organizations.
• Computer Skills: Proficient in the use of computers and basic software (Word, Excel, etc.) for drafting and documentation purposes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in liaison or legal advisory roles, preferably in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
• Good knowledge of local government procedures and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Ability to assess legal risks and offer actionable solutions.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
