What you'll do

Rampage Games is looking for talented and passionate Level Designers to help build exciting and competitive maps for our upcoming mobile shooter and MOBA hybrid game. In this role, you’ll design layouts, block out levels, and bring them to life in Unreal Engine, ensuring great flow, balance, and visual clarity. You’ll collaborate with artists, designers, and engineers to create spaces that support gameplay goals and provide engaging experiences for players.

Responsibilities

• Design and build engaging levels from concept through final implementation, ensuring they support gameplay, narrative, and artistic vision.
• Collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and programmers to iterate on level layouts, pacing, and player flow.
• Create level blockouts, white-box prototypes, and iterate based on playtest feedback.
• Balance gameplay challenges, enemy encounters, exploration, and rewards to deliver memorable player experiences.
• Contribute innovative ideas for mechanics, level themes, and interactive elements.

Requirements

As a person, you’re a creative problem-solver and passionate gamer who loves designing levels that feel great to play. You’re motivated to tackle challenges, eager to iterate, and comfortable working in a dynamic startup environment where you’ll have real ownership over your work.

• Several years of professional experience as a Level Designer in game development.
• Strong familiarity with level design principles specific to shooter and MOBA games.
• Proficient in 3D basic modeling and the use of modeling software.
• Proven experience with Unreal Engine, including working with level design tools and basic Blueprint scripting.
• Strong understanding of game design principles, player psychology, and pacing.
• Solid grasp of layout, composition, and navigation readability in 3D spaces.
• Experience with iterative development and incorporating feedback.
• Passion for games and creating great player experiences!
