What you'll do

Rampage Games is looking for talented and passionate Concept Artists to help shape the visual identity of our upcoming mobile shooter and MOBA hybrid game. In this role, you’ll create compelling concept art for environments, characters, and props that guide the overall art direction and inspire the team. You’ll work closely with designers, 3D artists, and engineers to ensure your concepts align with gameplay goals and support a cohesive and engaging player experience.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality concept art for environments, characters, props, and key art that defines the visual direction of the game.
• Collaborate closely with designers and 3D artists to translate ideas into compelling visuals.
• Develop mood paintings, color scripts, and visual explorations to communicate artistic vision.
• Generate detailed design sheets and callouts to guide 3D production.
• Help establish and maintain a consistent artistic style across the project.
• Participate in creative brainstorming and contribute fresh ideas for world-building and visual storytelling.
• Adapt artwork based on feedback and iterate quickly to explore multiple visual solutions.

Requirements

As an individual, you’re a creative problem-solver and passionate gamer who thrives on bringing imaginative ideas to life through art. You’re driven to tackle challenges, open to feedback and iteration, and excited to work in a dynamic startup environment where you’ll have meaningful ownership of your creations.

• Several years of professional experience as a Concept Artist in game development.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating excellent drawing and painting skills, design sensibility, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to visualize and create a wide range of subjects, including characters, environments, props, and vehicles.
• Solid understanding of composition, lighting, color theory, and perspective.
• Proficiency with digital art tools such as Photoshop, Procreate, or equivalent software.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt to different art styles as required by the project.
• Passion for games and creating visually inspiring worlds.
