Concept Artist

You will be joining Charuvi Design Labs (CDL), a prominent animation and design studio known for producing top-tier 2D/3D animated films, immersive experiences, and digital installations. At CDL, we focus on blending storytelling, art, and technology to create exceptional, award-winning content for various platforms such as films, TV, and museums. As a Concept Artist at CDL, your primary responsibility will be to bring characters, environments, props, and scenes to life through visually captivating artwork for animation films and immersive projects. Your role will be crucial in translating story concepts into compelling visual representations. Key Responsibilities: - Craft high-quality concept art for characters, environments, props, and key story moments. - Work closely with directors, art directors, and production designers to establish the visual style of projects. - Develop mood boards, color scripts, and visual references to enhance storytelling. - Adapt and refine artwork based on feedback and project requirements. - Ensure design consistency throughout different elements of the film or project. - Contribute to world-building and visual development from the initial stages to the final execution. Qualifications Required: - Demonstrated experience as a concept artist within the animation, gaming, or film industry. - Proficiency in digital painting software such as Photoshop, Procreate, etc. - Strong understanding of anatomy, perspective, lighting, and composition. - Ability to work across various styles ranging from realistic to stylized. - Exceptional visual storytelling and design thinking abilities. - Enthusiasm for art, films, mythology, culture, and immersive storytelling. Bonus Points For: - Familiarity with 3D software like Blender, ZBrush, or Maya. - Traditional drawing or painting skills. - Knowledge of animation pipelines or immersive media.
