What you'll do

Rampage Games is looking for a talented and passionate Sound Designer to shape the audio identity of our upcoming mobile shooter. In this role, you will create original sound effects that elevate impact, clarity, personality, and overall game feel. You will work closely with designers, artists, and engineers to ensure that every sound supports gameplay, enhances feedback, and fits the style and pacing of the experience.

Responsibilities

• Create high quality original sound effects for weapons, abilities, environments, user interface feedback, and gameplay moments.
• Design audio that amplifies clarity, timing, and emotional impact in fast paced shooter gameplay.
• Implement sounds in Unreal Engine and work with designers to ensure accurate and responsive behavior.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a cohesive and polished audio style.
• Participate in playtests and refine sounds based on gameplay feel and player feedback.
• Ensure all audio assets are optimized for performance on mobile devices.

Requirements

You are a passionate and detail oriented sound designer who loves bringing games to life through impactful and expressive audio. You enjoy creative problem solving and thrive in a dynamic startup environment where you can take ownership and deliver meaningful results.

• Professional experience as a Sound Designer in game development.
• Strong skills in creating original sound effects using field recording or synthesis.
• Proficiency with audio tools such as Reaper, Pro Tools, or similar software.
• Experience implementing audio inside Unreal Engine.
• Understanding of gameplay readability, timing, and feedback.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate closely with other disciplines.
• A love for games and a deep interest in sound driven gameplay experience.
