Level 2 OSS Engineer BSI (Build, Setup & Installation)

About the Role

BSI

Key Responsibilities

Execute and supervise
machine installation, alignment, and leveling
Support mechanical, electrical, pneumatic assembly activities
Connect and verify
utilities
(power, air pressure, IO, sensors, safety circuits)
Perform
machine calibration, dry runs, and early-stage performance testing
Identify setup-stage mechanical/electrical faults and coordinate resolutions
Validate accuracy, safety interlocks, and functionality before production handover
Guide Level 1 engineers during installation and early testing
Maintain installation reports, calibration logs, and technical documentation
Work closely with OEM engineers and system integration teams

Required Skills & Experience

2-5 years experience in:

Machine installation & commissioning
Industrial automation equipment setup
Robotics, conveyors, automated lines

Strong knowledge of:

Mechanical alignment, torque specs
Electrical & pneumatic connections
Sensors, actuators, IO testing

Ability to diagnose and guide on component-level issues
Hands-on experience with shop-floor tools & measurement instruments

Languages

English + Hindi or Tamil

Work Schedule

6 days per week
8:00 AM 6:00 PM (10-hour shift)
