Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Lead and manage
corporate litigation matters
, including recovery, enforcement, arbitration, and court cases across various forums.
Handle
SARFAESI proceedings
end-to-end: drafting notices, managing possession, sale of assets, and coordination with enforcement agencies.
Represent the organization in
civil, DRT, DRAT, High Court and other judicial forums
for recovery and litigation-related cases.
Draft, vet, and review pleadings, replies, applications, and other legal documentation pertaining to litigation and SARFAESI.
Liaise and coordinate with external advocates, law firms, and counsel for effective litigation management.
Provide
advisory support
to business and credit teams on recovery, enforcement actions, and legal remedies.
Maintain litigation MIS, track case progress, and ensure timely closure of matters.
Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements under
SARFAESI Act, IBC, RBI guidelines, and other applicable laws
.
Drive strategy for effective recovery and resolution of stressed assets.
