Job Purpose:

To support the Legal Cell in ensuring regulatory compliance, managing legal documentation, and support in both litigation and non-litigation matters for the organization.

Key responsibilities of Legal Intern: -

1. Assist in drafting, reviewing, and analyzing contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
2. Conduct legal research on regulations applicable to NBFC-MFIs and provide summaries.
3. Support in liaising with other departments and external legal counsel on litigation and non-litigation matters.
4. Drafting and assisting Legal cell and empaneled legal counsel in sending legal notices to delinquent clients for recovery of loan amount.
5. Assisting Legal Cell and the Operations department in initiating legal action and filing of FIR.
6. Assist in maintaining and organizing legal files and documentation.
7. Track changes in regulatory frameworks and provide timely updates to the legal cell.
8. Help in the preparation of legal reports and presentations.
9. Support the team in ensuring regulatory compliance with RBI guidelines and other applicable laws.
10. Perform other duties as assigned by the legal cell.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Good drafting and documentation abilities.
• Understanding of NBFC-MFI regulations and RBI guidelines.
• Coordination and communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and organizational abilities
