As a Legal Counsel at Divo TV Private Limited, a Warner Music company, your role will be crucial in safeguarding the company's reputation and ensuring comprehensive risk management and regulatory compliance across all business operations. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing proactive and in-depth legal and strategic advice with a strong business orientation to support the company's goals while upholding integrity, quality, ethical conduct, and corporate responsibility. - Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing a wide range of legal and commercial agreements, such as licensing, distribution, content acquisition, artist agreements, and partnership contracts. You will also be responsible for preparing internal legal documentation, policy manuals, and compliance guidelines. - Ensuring that all agreements are thoroughly vetted to protect the company's interests and are responded to within established timelines. - Demonstrating experience in handling intellectual property rights (IPR) infringement matters and leading negotiations on complex, high-value music, media, or technology contracts. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders, international clients, content partners, and cross-functional teams to support business operations and compliance objectives.
