ob Title: Legal Advisor

Job Summary:
The Legal Advisor provides expert guidance on all legal matters affecting the organization. This role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, advising on risk mitigation, and supporting dispute resolution processes. The Legal Advisor acts as a key partner to senior management, offering strategic legal insights to support organizational goals while safeguarding its legal interests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Legal Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough research and in-depth analysis of legal matters to provide accurate, well-informed advice.
  • Drafting & Reviewing Documents: Prepare, review, and finalize contracts, vendor agreements, statutory compliance paperwork, and other legal documents.
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure adherence to local, state, and central legislation, as well as industry-specific corporate laws.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks, recommend mitigating measures, and provide counsel on exposure management.
  • Dispute Resolution: Mediate and negotiate on behalf of the organization to settle disputes and resolve claims effectively.
  • Strategic Advice: Collaborate with senior management to provide legal input on critical business decisions and strategic initiatives.
  • Litigation Support: Prepare legal documentation, liaise with external counsel, and assist in litigation-related activities.
  • Staying Updated: Keep abreast of evolving laws, regulations, and industry best practices to maintain legal expertise.

Required Qualifications:

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
  • License/Registration: Must hold a valid license to practice law (Bar Council Registration preferred).
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Legal Advisor, Corporate Lawyer, or similar role.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legal domains (e.g., corporate law, labor law, contracts, compliance).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to translate complex legal concepts into simple, actionable guidance.
  • High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and accountability.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
