Job Title: Legal Associate – Cyber Incident Response & Document Review
Experience: Minimum 3 Months to 2 Years
Job Type: Contract Role (3 Months)
Location: Sector 67, Mohali
Work Schedule: 6 Days a Week | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Shift Flexibility: Open for extended hours & Weekends with overtime pay (as per project requirements)

About the Role:

We are seeking detail-oriented and motivated law professionals to join our Cyber Incident Response team as Legal Associates in Mohali. This is a contractual role ideal for individuals with at least 3 months of experience in incident response, data breach handling, and legal document review.

As part of the role, you will support breach investigation teams by analyzing legal documents, identifying sensitive information such as PII/PHI, and assisting in compliance-related documentation. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career lawyers with an interest in cybersecurity, data privacy, and legal tech.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review large volumes of confidential documents related to data breaches and cybersecurity incidents.
• Identify, extract, and categorize Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Protected Health Information (PHI).
• Assist in drafting and maintaining clear and accurate incident documentation, data inventories, and legal reports.
• Collaborate with cyber incident response and data review teams.
• Follow legal protocols and project-specific guidelines to ensure data protection and compliance.
• Maintain productivity and quality benchmarks consistently across projects.

What We’re Looking For:

Education: LLB or higher (candidates with a background in data privacy or cybersecurity law preferred)
Experience: 3 months – 2 years in legal document review, breach investigation, or incident response
Typing Speed: Minimum 40 words per minute

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong legal acumen with attention to detail
• Familiarity with data protection laws (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)
• Proficient in document review platforms and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work on repetitive tasks with accuracy and focus
• Willingness to work in night shifts and weekends if required

Nice to Have (Not Mandatory):

• Knowledge of PII/PHI classifications and data breach notification processes
• Exposure to tools such as Relativity, Excel, or SQL
• Interest in cybersecurity, compliance, or digital forensics

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
