Role Description

This full-time role as a Legal Assistant is based on-site in Chennai. The Legal Assistant will be responsible for providing support to the legal team, including conducting legal research, drafting and reviewing legal documents, maintaining legal files, and coordinating with clients and courts. The role also involves managing schedules, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong research, drafting, and document review skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Proficiency in coordinating with clients, courts, and other stakeholders
• Solid understanding of legal terminology and procedures
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or related field
• Previous experience in a legal environment is a plus
