9Point Capital is a digital-first investment and advisory platform focused on enabling Indian investors to access global markets, including US and international securities, ETFs, and digital asset–linked products. The firm operates at the intersection of finance, regulation, and technology, with a strong emphasis on investor protection, regulatory compliance, and responsible innovation in fintech and crypto.

Role Overview

We are looking for a lawyer with strong drafting, research, and regulatory instincts, especially around financial services, crypto, taxation, and public law.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬

• Legal research on Indian & cross-border regulations (SEBI, RBI, FEMA, Income-tax, crypto laws)

• Drafting legal opinions, advisory notes, notices, representations, and contracts

• Assisting in tax litigation, regulatory correspondence, and policy submissions

• Supporting high-stakes matters involving exchanges, platforms, funds, and HNIs

• Contributing to thought leadership, articles, and policy advocacy

𝐈𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐞

• LL.B. from a Premier university

• 2–5 years PQE (law firms / litigation / regulatory roles preferred)

• Strong drafting & legal reasoning skills

• Interest in fintech, crypto, taxation, and emerging regulation

• High ethical standards and attention to detail

𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞

• Experience with tax laws, FEMA, or financial regulations

• Experience with setting up funds, drafting of PPMs.

• Prior exposure to crypto / digital assets (professional or academic)
