Legal Advisor

We are seeking a highly competent and experienced General Legal Adviser – Real Estate to oversee and manage legal matters related to property transactions, land acquisition, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution. The ideal candidate will ensure all real estate activities are legally sound and aligned with applicable laws and company policies. . 🔍 Key Responsibilities:Conduct legal due diligence on properties, including title verification and identification of encumbrances Draft, review, and negotiate various real estate agreements such as Sale Deeds, Lease Agreements, Development Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements, and MoUs Ensure compliance with applicable real estate laws and regulations, including RERA, land acquisition laws, zoning, building codes, and municipal approvals Handle property registration, stamp duty, and related documentation Advise management and cross-functional teams on legal risks and regulatory matters related to real estate projects Represent the organization in property-related legal disputes and coordinate with external legal counsel as needed Liaise with government authorities, land offices, regulatory bodies, and external legal consultants Keep up to date with changes in relevant laws and proactively communicate their impact on the business Support land acquisition and real estate development strategies with legal inputs Maintain proper legal records and documentation for all transactions
