Job Description

Responsible for educating staff as to the products/processes and the benefit and value they provide to customers. Develops lesson plans, participant guides, and all types of training-related documentation. This content is used in the development of highly engaging classroom instruction, eLearning, eTraining and all forms of learning engagements.

About the Role:
As a Learning Consultant for TAP Technical Support, you will:

  • Deliver product and process training sessions in a live, virtual, and blended environment
  • Responsible for efficiently developing or assisting in the development of curricula for Technical Support professionals
  • Conduct needs analysis to determine training needs and delivery methods
  • Partner with Training Team, Quality Team, Technical Support leadership and other internal stakeholders to deliver needs-based training
  • Determine appropriate instructional procedures/methods and develop/assist in development of corresponding curricula and reference guides
  • Measure the effectiveness of existing training programs and utilize data to enhance the learning experience
  • Evaluate customer contacts and provide feedback and coaching
  • Develop effective communication vehicles to ensure training and quality programs are fully understood and appropriately valued by the learners and other stakeholders
  • Participate in quality and calibration sessions serving as subject matter expert
  • Partner with the instructional designer/s in creating, designing, and developing a wide variety of learning materials such as facilitator guides, online training, self-study guides, case studies, demonstrations, and simulations.

  • Youre confident in facilitating engaging and effective training sessions for diverse audiences.
  • You have a strong ability to quickly learn new products and translate that knowledge into impactful learning experiences.
  • You take initiative in ensuring training materials are always accurate and up to date.
  • You work closely with Instructional Designers to continuously improve and align learning content with evolving business needs.
